On Saturday, April 16, 2011 the Boston Hub Chapter #27 and the Maids of Athena Worcester Chapter joined in an exhilarating night of fun. F1, noted for their “Get There. Faster” slogan, proved to meet expectations upon entering the complex. Once inside, SOP members got the rare opportunity to see jaw dropping racing cars on display and become acquainted with Formula One Racing. The focus of this event was to culminate our chapter’s mission in its continuance on expanding our Greek-American and Phil-Hellenes’ culture.

Immediately after filling out the necessary forms, everyone was ready for what they came for; the adrenaline rush of racing and the opportunity to socialize with one another. As everyone suited up with helmets, racing suits, and other necessities, their names were placed on a true Formula One racing scoreboard. Racers were able to see their progress throughout the race as they weaved through tight corners and breathtaking tunnel. Following the race, both chapters sat down and socialized with one another.

The chapter’s continuance growth has been exceptional by having initiated a new member at each of our 2011 chapter meetings. It is because of great ideas, vision-driven individuals, and our continuance of making events fit all personalities. We welcome all our brothers’ strive and determination to exceed expectations.

Fraternally,

George Primpas
