On Friday September 11th, we the Boston Sons chapter, hosted a cookout and raffle at the Boston Cathedral church followed by a Red Sox - Devil Rays game. With the help of a local AHEPA chapter and other investors, we were able to purchase 70 tickets for the newly built roof-box terrace on right field line.

Considering the division rivalry, there was much anticipation. Unfortunately, the weather had other intentions. In the end, the game was rained out and postponed. Despite the bad weather and postponement, this event provided a great opportunity to foster current relationships, build relationships with potential new members and allowed Sons and Ahepans to interact. We had a great time, both at the cookout and in the stadium anticipating the restart of the game. Two days later, on that Sunday, the game was made up and everyone had a fun and relaxing time. And even better, the Red Sox won!
