BEING A SON HAS ITS PRIVILEGES!

| Another year has come and gone, and another winner of the
annual "Membership has its Privileges Program" of the Sons of Pericles has had an amazing,
all inclusive trip paid to attend the 87th National AHEPA Supreme Convention in San Francisco, CA.
This year’s winner was Arthur Kominos from Wyckoff, NJ's Patritha #317. When asked what he
thought of the trip, Arthur replied, "This trip was amazing on so many levels, and I was
happy to meet Sons and Maids from across the nation. And the best part was it was free!" |
The “Membership has its Privileges Program” seeks to encourage and reward
members of the Sons of Pericles for remaining active in their chapters, districts, and nationally.
A point system is devised in order to point out which chapters are the most active on a nationwide
basis. Points are earned for attending events, hosting events, and donating to the national
project, among other ranking criteria. The top ten point earners are then entered into a
randomizer program which selects a winner at random for the grand prize of an all inclusive
paid trip to the AHEPA National Convention. |

Wyckoff, NJ’s Patritha #317 has won the "Membership has its
Privileges Program" for two years in a row now, and we are very proud of their chapter and
their accomplishments. It is now time for other chapters to follow their lead, and give
them a run for their money (literally) next year! |
