The Sons of Pericles Start the Year Strong
Kali Xronia Brothers and Sisters! Even with the relative youth of 2013, the Sons of Pericles have already accomplished quite a bit. We hosted our national West Coast Greeks in LA Basketball Tournament over Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend where we had a successful turnout and raised over $2,000 for the joint Sons and Maids National Project, FARA [Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance].

The National Lodges of The Sons of Pericles and Maids of Athena have a long history of working together. Whether hosting athletic tournaments, planning after-hours events or fundraising for special causes, our organizations’ members have donated their time and skills for the benefit of all Greek youth and our fellow citizens.
Greeks in LA 2013 Tournament Wrap-Up
Greeks in LA had another great turnout from both the East and the West Coast on January 18th - January 20th. Eight teams participated in the highly competitive tournament played at the UCLA Student Activity Center with many games going down to the wire.
AHEPA Scholarship Information
The 2013 AHEPA National Scholarship Applications are now available! Last year, the AHEPA Educational Foundation awarded $88,000 in scholarships.
Sons of Pericles Albany #44 Honors Distinguished AHEPAN
The Albany chapter has established an annual event for the purpose of recognizing a distinguished member of the Greek community. This year, the chapter honored AHEPA Past Supreme Governor Peter Baltis, who joined the order in 1973.
